Wedding Veil
The most important accessory of the wedding dress is the veil. When choosing your veil, make sure that it is compatible with the fabric and model of your wedding dress. If you are wearing a lace wedding dress, the quality of the lace on your veil should be the same. At the same time, it should match the motifs on the lace of your wedding dress. If your choice is a tulle wedding dress, your veil should be of the same tulle. For example, if a crystal tulle veil is prepared for a wedding dress sewn from dream tulle, that veil will not provide integrity with your wedding dress. No matter how beautiful your wedding dress is, it is the veil that completes it. If the two come together, you will be a stylish bride.
Round face
If your face is round, a veil that is poured on both sides of your face to make your face look thinner is the right choice for you. You can also get the desired result with a veil that you can hang your hair on both sides of your face and fasten from the top. Never choose very fluffy veil models such as nostalgic veils.
Oval Face
If you have oval facial features, you are very lucky. Any kind of veil will suit you. You can wear any veil suitable for the model of your wedding dress with peace of mind.
Heart Face
If your forehead and cheekbones are wide but your chin is narrow, you have a heart face shape. A veil model that is not too high to add fullness to the chin part and to proportion it with the upper part of the face, which you can attach to the back of your head or neck, is suitable for you. It can be a shirred veil or you can fasten a narrow veil with a flower.
Rectangle Face
If your facial features are rectangular, the most beautiful nostalgic fluffy veils go to you. If you don't like nostalgic veils or if they don't fit the model of your wedding dress, you can use other veil models with peace of mind.
Baklava Face
If your cheekbones are wide and your chin and forehead are narrow, it means you have a baklava face type. It's a near-perfect face shape. You can use any veil and hairstyle you want.
Long Face
You can choose models with transverse volume to show your facial features more beautiful. Likewise, you can let your hair fall down your shoulders like a waterfall. A veil and hairstyle like this add volume to your face. You should avoid very steep and long buns.
Square Face
If you have a square face, it means you have a strong chin and hard facial features. To add a little softness, choose long veil models. Softens your facial features in a lace-edged veil.
TYPES OF bridal veils
Face Covering Veil
It can be used short or long. It is one of the most preferred veil models because it is our tradition for the groom to lift the veil and kiss the bride after the wedding. It can be worked both ways, with or without shirring.
Elbow Veil
This model is at elbow level. It can be used in any type of wedding dress. You can choose it with or without shirring. If your wedding dress has a wide back, make sure that it is at the level where the décolleté ends and the skirt begins. If there is a model on the skirt of your wedding dress, especially on the back, choose this veil so that the model is not covered.
Shoulder-Length Veil
You should prefer a model with multi-embroidered and low-cut back. If you want to highlight the model of your wedding dress, you should prefer a shoulder-length veil. It is usually prepared as a double layer. The coats can be the same length or one shorter than the other.
Fingertip Veil
The bride's arms hang down her sides and end at her fingertips. Embroidery and lace work very well on this model veil. If you have a simple wedding dress, you can use a toe-end veil decorated with stones, flowers or lace.
The Nun and the Floor-Length Veil
The nun's veil is prepared by placing lace on the edges of the plain tulle. It is a single layer and is worn over your head. It is difficult to use because it is a very long veil. But if you necessarily prefer this veil, ask your tailor to make one at the end. If you wear one on your finger later in the wedding, you can use it more comfortably. If you are a petite type, you should not choose it as it will make you look shorter than you are.
Birdcage Veil
Those who want to wear a different veil can choose. It is the veil model most used by those who have made their second marriage. It looks very stylish in simple, not too fluffy wedding dresses. It is attached to the end of a hat, flower or other accessory. You can cover your entire face, as well as at eye level. You can choose it with short and bun hair.
Nostalgic Veil
As the name suggests, it is the most used veil model in the past. It has also caught our eye many times in old Turkish films. It is a very fluffy veil model with dense shirring. It is attached to the top of your head. It looks very stylish with a wide or narrow crown that you will wear at the end. If you have a wedding dress with fluffy tulle, you should choose a nostalgic veil .
